With an interior decorator as a mom, understanding the importance of an environment’s ambiance and aesthetics were ingrained into my DNA at a young age. This awareness helped me pave the way to my organizing and event planning career, and still impacts my daily work.
While most kids spent time participating in athletic activities, I could always be found categorizing and color-coordinating my clothes. And, I was quick to pick up on how to maximize my closet space. Childhood friends found joy in shifting a pile of perfectly folded shirts to see if I noticed. I always did.

Over the years, I enthusiastically volunteered my organizational skills. I took charge of friends’ closet overhauls, and even rode along for college moves to make sure dorms were styled to peak functionality.
Prior to simplifying lives, my background in luxury hospitality and events was anchored by a communications career with Four Seasons Hotel Chicago. This experience sharpened my ability to prioritize client needs and customize strategies based on specific visions.

Simplified by Charlotte has really changed the way I view organizing.
